Sevens: Veteran Stannard Returns For Australia In Dubai

ARU Media Release - A slight quadriceps strain to Cameron Clark has forced a change to the Qantas Men's Sevens for the second round of the 2013/14 HSBC Sevens World Series in Dubai this week. Clark will be replaced by James Stannard who featured in the Qantas Men's Sevens side that progressed to the Cup Final in the opening HSBC Sevens World Series round on the Gold Coast in October. The 30-year-old former Western Force and Japanese Top League representative made his Australian Sevens debut back in 2010. He was a member of the Australian side that won a Silver medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India, and captained the side that won the London Sevens at Twickenham in the same year.
