Brad Wilkin to return for Aus U20s clash against Italy

Australian 7's star Brad Wilkin has been named to return from injury for the Australian U20's Junior World Cup clash against Italy on Sunday morning (AEST). Australian U20's coach Adrian Thompson has made three changes to the side that claimed a 34-22 bonus point win over Samoa last week, with winger Conrad Quick and hooker Folau Faingaa also named in the starting XV. “Injecting Brad back into the starting side will give us some extra experience and versatility at the set piece and in defence," Thompson said. Despite claiming a comprehensive victory over Samoa, the coach wants to see improvement against Italy, ahead of Australia's crucial clash against South Africa in its final pool match. “We’ve recognised some areas for improvement after our clash against Samoa and we are aware that we need to come up with a better 80-minute performance on Sunday.” The clash at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi, Parma kicks off at 4.30am Sunday 7 June and will be broadcast live on Fox Sports.
