Former Southern Districts flyhalf Ben Volavola is set to make his Rugby World Cup debut this weekend after being named in Fiji's starting side to play England in the opening match of the 2015 tournament. The 25-year old former Waratah is joined by new Crusaders teammate Nemani Nadolo in an exciting backline, with veteran Akapusi Qera named captain in his third World Cup. “We have come through a very good preparation phase and are ready to move into the competition," Fiji coach John McKee said. “All our players are fit and available for selection,” he added. Whilst McKee acknowledged his side would go into the match as underdogs, he said he was confident Fiji are good enough to beat the host nation. “England is a very strong team and will be a difficult opponent at Twickenham.
