Simmons gets another crack for Wallabies
THE rollercoaster year of Rob Simmons continued on Thursday when he was named to start in the second row for the Wallabies as they prepare to take on Argentina in Canberra.
Wallabies coach Michael Cheika made just the one change to his starting XV ahead the clash with Los Pumas at GIO Stadium on Saturday night.
The match will be Simmons’ 75th Test for the Wallabies and he will team up with the experienced Adam Coleman, with Rory Arnold out of the match day 23.
Stephen Moore, who missed the Test against South Africa in Perth last weekend to be at the birth of his third child, has missed out on the match day 23 with selectors opting to use Tatafu Polota-Nau in the starting side and Jordan Uelese off the bench.
Reds lock Izack Rodda will get the chance for just his second Test cap if called upon.
Saturday night's clash could also mark the debut for Rugby League convert Marika Koroibete, after he was named amongst the reserves.
