Cheika names two debutants in Wallabies team to play Argentina

Wallabies coach Michael Cheika has named both Tom Robertson and Lopeti Timani in an extended 24-man side to play Argentina in Perth on Saturday night. The announcement caps a stellar year for 22-year old Robertson, who only made his Super Rugby debut this season. In other changes, Queensland Reds lock Rob Simmons has replaced Kane Douglas after two strong showings for QLD Country in the NRC. The 27-year old will partner Adam Coleman in the second row, in what will be the sixth different lock combination used by Michael Cheika in 2016. Coleman and fellow Western Force star Dane Haylett-Petty will get the chance to run out in front of their home crowd while Reece Hodge retains his spot on the wing after an impressive run-on debut last weekend. Henry Speight could also be set for a return to the Test arena for the first time since facing Uruguay at the 2015 Rugby World Cup, replacing Drew Mitchell on the Wallabies bench.
