NSW GPS v CAS 1st & 2nd XV: Top performers
GPS claimed bragging rights over their CAS rivals, winning both fixtures on a wet night at Knox on Tuesday.
A number of players caught the eye, though it must be said that the open, free flowing nature of the 2nd XV fixture made it a lot easier for individuals to impress in comparison to the later match.
Tolu Koula - GPS I & Newington
Koula was absolutely brilliant and far and away the most impressive on the night. On a cold, wet evening, the crowd rose every time he went near the ball.
Nick Chan - GPS I & Joeys
Didn’t get a lot of opportunity in attack but hit like a train in defence and showed plenty of class in his third season playing GPS.
Hamish Moore - GPS I & Scots
Scored a good individual try early and threw well to back of the lineout in the first half to keep pressure on CAS.
Jacob Ratcliff - GPS I & Newington
The GPS No.7 was involved in everything and looked very strong over the ball. Caused a number of turnovers and sl
