Along with Owen Finegan, Brendon Cannon spoke of the difficulty of feeling like you are left in the dark at the end of your career, like the lights have been turned off of the life you previously lived as an elite rugby player. With the impending decision on the fate of one Australian Super Rugby Franchise, the question that is on a lot of peoples lips is are we turning the lights off on players careers, and if so what is the impact on them and the game in general?
