Six tries in a blistering second half from Eastwood has seen the ladder leaders see off a determined and spirited Parramatta 56-20 at a sunny TG Millner Field. Trailing only 15-8 at the break, the Two Blues had managed to produce forty minutes of football that frustrated their loftier opponents, an in-your-face, physical approach at the breakdown and an appetite for tackling that choked Eastwood’s ability to move the ball at speed and get some pay out wide.

However, it was a different story after the break as the home side went through the gears and put their foot down, blasting away their opponents with their high octane brand of running rugby – good hands, good support and an ability to punish almost every mistake with a score. With Sydney Uni and Southern Districts breathing down their necks, the Woodies are now three wins away from securing a fourth consecutive Minor Premiership while Parra need to lick their wounds and recover quickly if they are to scrape into the top eight with a late run.
