Save, earn & support Australian grassroots rugby this summer!

Sports sponsorship is a tough game at the best of times and it seems COVID is only going to make it a whole lot tougher in the years to come, particularly for grassroots rugby clubs.

To help counter that, Rugby News has partnered with online lender Divi Home Loans to help rugby fans save on their home loan and earn some much needed cash for their favourite local rugby club.

At the moment, a number of the big four banks are offering upwards of $4000 cash back to anyone that takes advantage of record low interest rates and refinances their home loan.

And to sweeten the deal, Divi Home Loans will also donate $500 to the local rugby club of any individual who refinances before the end of 2020.

“If you’ve had your existing loan since before the start of 2019, or if your current interest rate starts with a three, there’s a pretty good chance that you’re paying thousands of dollars more than you need to on your home loan every year,” Divi Home Loans Principal Colin Ward said.

“We partnered with Rugby News to help spread that message throughout the Sydney rugby community. That’s why we are happy to donate $500 to the local rugby club of any individual that refinances their home loan before the end of this year.”

Ward said he was also eager to partner with grassroots rugby clubs of all sizes in 2021 and beyond.

“We launched Divi Home Loans specifically to support Australian grassroots sporting clubs and have a fairly unique sponsorship program that can create a sustainable and profitable revenue stream for clubs and put more cash in the pockets of the club’s members to spend on the things they love.”
