That record then fell in Round 7 as Sydney University, their usurpers in last year’s Grand Final, came back to haunt them once again with a fiercely contested 5pt win. No time for panic was the mantra from the Rebels after the loss. It was still early days and there’s plenty of football left to play, it was just a case of getting back on the wagon and rolling on against Randwick in the next one.
