But the Wicks were in no mood for sympathy, putting together an opening half of vim, vigour and precision to lead 22-0 at the break. The Woodies regrouped in the second stanza and fought back to get within 8pts and pick up a four-try bonus point. But it was too little, too late to upset the Galloping Greens early-season charge.
