The Western Force have named their side for tonight’s opening Super Rugby trial of 2016 the Hurricanes in Gosford.

South African import Peter Grant will start at flyhalf ahead of fellow recruit Jono Lance with Kyle Godwin and Marcel Brache to partner in the midfield.

Prop Pek Cowan will captain the side in the absence of Matt Hodgson and will bring plenty of experience to the young squad.

Perth Spirit stars Jermaine Ainsley (Nedlands), Richard Hardwick (UWA) and Maalonga Konelio (Joondalup Brothers) have also been included in the 28-man squad after strong showing in last year’s NRC.

The match will be streamed live through the Western Force website with kick off at 6:50pm (AEDT).
