UQ name new look team to play Warringah in Australian Club Championship

UQ coach Mick Heenan has named a new look side to play 2017 Shute Shield champions Warringah in this weekend's Australian Club Championship at Rat Park on Sydney's northern beaches. Former Australian Sevens star Con Foley returns to his old club after playing with Sydney club Northern Suburbs last year, the side Warringah defeated in the Shute Shield decider. Halfback Scott Gale is also back for the Red Heavies after a stint in Japan, while Australian U20s flyer Will Eadie will start on the wing. Earlier today, Warringah name a near full strength team featuring former Wallaby Mark Gerrard. UQ face Warringah at 3pm on Saturday afternoon, with the match set to be televised live on Fox Sports (4pm Brisbane time). UQ team to play Warringah:  Tom Mellor, Campbell Wakely, Hamish Richardson, Jay Adkins, Ben Paxton-Hall, Pat Morrey, Wyatt Setu, Jack de Guingand, Scott Gale, James Dalgleish, Will Eadie, Con Foley, Josh Birch, Clifton Setu, Jock Campbell.
