Tom Kingston confident Students are hitting form at right time of year

Sydney Uni fullback Tom Kingston is confident his side can still win the premiership this year, if they can find a way to sneak into the finals. The Students claimed an important 37-35 win over Northern Suburbs on Saturday and are now just five competition points outside of the top six with five rounds remaining. “It was a really important win against Norths on the back of that loss to West Harbour at home,” the Australian Sevens star told Rugby News. “We’ve got a tough few games to come against Warringah, Eastwood and Manly this weekend, so it was important to win and get some of that confidence back again.” While Kingston said he personally hasn’t looked into how many games the Students will need to win to book a spot in the playoffs, the fullback admitted momentum was crucial at this point of the season. “At the end of the day, if we can make the finals, then we are only three wins away from a premiership so we’ve just got to find a way to get in that
