Sydney Uni & Warringah name teams for Shute Shield grand final

Sydney University and Warringah have both named full strength sides to meet in Saturday’s Shute Shield grand final at Bankwest Stadium.  In a rematch of the 2018 decider, Sydney Uni will start as favourites but may be without impressive lock Nick Champion de Crespigny, who faces the NSW Rugby judiciary this evening.  If Champion de Crespigny is suspended, either Rory Suttor or Nick Coaldrake would likely replace him in the Uni starting XV.  Warringah coach Mark Gerrard has named veteran flyhalf Hamish Angus in his starting side but an injury cloud still looms over the head of the three time Catchpole Medal winner. Angus has missed Warringah’s last two matches, with utility back Harley Attwater covering the playmaking duties.
