Super Rugby: Sevens Specialist Signs For Brumbies

Brumbies Media Release - The Brumbies have signed sevens specialist Lausii Taliauli to a one-year deal after the giant outside back arrived in Canberra late last week. A tall, lean, athletic player who will rival Tevita Kuridrani as the club’s biggest outside back, Taliauli has enjoyed a varied career to this point having now held fulltime contract positions with NRL club, the Gold Coast Titans, the Australian Sevens and the Brumbies. Taliauli was first introduced to Canberra’s rugby fraternity in 2014 when he was temporarily released from the Australian Sevens to feature for the UC Vikings in the NRC. He immediately made an impact and was quickly snapped up by the Brumbies for the 2015 season. For a big player, Taliauli has quick feet and a wicked step.
