Shute Shield: The first grade team lists for all the action in Round Seven

By MARK CASHMAN

The teams are in for Round Seven of the Shute Shield competition and there have been a number of interesting selections in each of the six games scheduled for Saturday.

Sevens star Maurice Longbottom has been named at fullback for Randwick who take on Eastwood in the 7TWO TV match of the round at Coogee Oval.

The Woods have moved Michael Icely from the back row into lock with the return of Pat Sio at No.8 which will add considerably to the ball carrying venom of their lineup.

Tim Simona also finds a place in their starting side this week on the wing but the decision  making core is still there.

Souths have named Andrew Tuala at loose head for their match against Warringah at Pittwater Rugby Park while Northern Suburbs have changed out their entire front row for the clash with the Western Sydney Two Blues in Camden.

in comes Argentine prop German Haeffeli, the robust Gary Bautz and Dewald Dekker after the Shoremen came under severe pressure from Eastern Suburbs last weekend at Woollahra Oval.

Here’s the teams for Saturday’s big games.
