Shute Shield teams to play tournament final at Sydney 7’s

The Intrust Super Shute Shield will feature on the international rugby stage next month, following today’s announcement that the final of the Sydney Club 7’s will be played at a packed Allianz Stadium on Saturday afternoon at the inaugural Sydney 7’s tournament. Eastern Suburbs, Eastwood, Gordon, Manly, Northern Suburbs, Parramatta, Randwick and West Harbour will all feature in the tournament at Moore Park’s Kippax Oval, with the decider to be played in front of upwards of 45,000 fans on the main field. Rugby News understands all Shute Shield clubs were invited to participate in the NSW Rugby organised event, with $10,000 prize money up for grabs.
