The 2022 Shute Shield season is finally upon us and the release of the team lists only add to the anticipation ahead of an intriguing opening weekend.

Easts have named an 18 year old fresh out of school at flyhalf, Hunter have recruited an all star backrow and Western Sydney have named a completely new look side with a former NRL flyer set to start at fullback.
