Shute Shield Moneyball: Which players have stood out in the opening three rounds

We’re three weeks in to the 2021 Shute Shield season and while it’s still a little early to get a full idea of what each team will offer this season, we can start to look at some of the better individual performances in the opening rounds, thanks to our mates at Opta Sport.

Sydney Uni fullback Tim Clements has been on fire in the opening weeks and leads a number of attacking stats, while new Highlanders winger Alex Pohla has also been allusive.

Up front, Souths’ look to have a goer in new backrower Angus Allen while Norths lock Brad Hemopo and Two Blues big man John Akau’ola-Laula have impressed at lineout time.
