Shute Shield: First round losers Eastern Suburbs and West Harbour in the TV spotlight this Saturday

By MARK CASHMAN The game between Eastern Suburbs and West Harbour at Woollahra Oval will be telecast live on Seven Two on Saturday. The free to air coverage kicked off last weekend with the grand final replay between Warringah and Sydney Uni and the numbers appear to have been solid. The Sydney Rugby Union are hoping to broadcast a wide range of teams throughout the season which means that the game between Randwick and Penrith in Round Five will give followers the chance to see the development of the Emus under former Rugby World Cup winning defence guru John Muggleton. The Shute Shield is only rugby competition that is shown on free to air television in Australia at the moment. Seven Two have revamped their commentary team with Sean Maloney joining Tony Lewis, Dan Parks, Shannon Parry and Lou Ransome.
