Rescheduled Round 4: Standout Performers

GPS, Brothers and Easts secured vital wins in rescheduled round four games over the weekend.

Here are four standout performances from each clash.

Maile Ngauamo – GPS

The Galloper’s hooker was instrumental in helping GPS move into the top four on Saturday.

Ngauamo scored four of GPS’ six tries against Sunnybank at Yoku Road.

The front rower capitalised on multiple GPS’ rolling mauls to score an unprecedented number of times.

Billy Bulley – Brothers

The Brother’s speedster scored three times in his side’s crucial win against Souths on the weekend.

Bulley set up Nick Cross for his side’s first points of the game before crossing himself when Souths were within a converted try with twelve minutes to play.

The No.11 showed his toe minutes later with an interception that sealed Brother’s win. The winger wasn’t done yet crossing after the eightieth minute for his third.

Meli Dreu – Easts

Easts’ fullback starred in his team’s dominant victory against Norths on Saturday.

Dreu threw a lengthy cut out ball for Shea Lalagavesi to score Easts second try in the opening half before setting up the match sealer for Lalagevsi’s second.

The No.15 strolled over the try line on half time to give Easts an ultimately insurmountable advantage.

Theo Fourie – Souths

South’s hooker produced a captain’s game despite his side’s loss to Brothers.

The No.2 scored in the opening five minutes to give Souths an early boost and silence the Crosby Park fans.

The Magpie’s captain brought his team within four points of Brothers early in the second half with his second five pointer from a rolling maul.
