Reece Hodge signs with Melbourne Rebels

Manly Marlins centre Reece Hodge has signed a two year deal with the Melbourne Rebels ahead of the 2016 Super Rugby season. The former Australian Schoolboy and Australian U20's star made his Shute Shield debut last year, and at just 20 years of age has already scored more than 150 first grade points. “I’m really grateful for the opportunity to move to Melbourne, and hopefully I’ll be able to repay that faith and continue to enjoy my footy at the same time,” Hodge said. “I’m looking forward to what the next two years holds.” Hodge will join Marlins teammate Jordy Reid at the Rebels and will link with Australian U20's teammates Ben Meehan and Jonah Placid. “The opportunity to join the Rebels and hopefully play Super Rugby means a lot to me; the culture of the Club, and the direction the team is going, really impressed me. I’ve worked very hard for this opportunity, and certainly didn’t think it was going to happen this quickly.” Hodge is the latest in a numbe
