The NSW Waratahs have announced a 16-man Sevens training squad ahead of this month’s National Sevens Championship in Adelaide.

Manly’s Dennis Pili-Gaitau, Southern Districts flyer Matt Teki and Norths’ winger Lochie Creagh have all been included in the extended squad after strong Shute Shield seasons, alongside players from across the state including Rhys Peters from Wollongong and Sam Fogarty from Newcastle.

Last year, Boyd Killingworth and Simon Kennewell both picked up Australian Sevens contracts after impressing at nationals.

Four players will be cut from the squad ahead of the two-day tournament, to be held on the 19th and 20th of November.
