NSW U20s name team for crucial Super 20s clash against Brumbies

NSW U20s coach Pat McCutcheon has made three changes to his side for this weekend’s round three Super 20s clash against the Brumbies Colts. Max Girdler will start at No.8 on Saturday, with Harry McLennan and Dan Matthews added to the bench. The young Waratahs opened their 2017 campaign with a 41-36 win over the Western Force in wet conditions a fortnight ago and had a bye last weekend. “The wet conditions didn’t make is easy against the Force but I was pleased that we were still able to shift the ball quite well when we needed to,” McCutcheon told Rugby News. “I was happy with the scrum as well,  but we’ll need to be strong at set piece against the Brumbies." McCutcheon said the side worked hard on both discipline and decision making during their week off. “We worked them pretty hard last week but they’ll need it this weekend.
