NSW Schools: Joeys, Scots & Kings to battle for GPS premiership in final round

Joeys, Scots and Kings all head into the final round of the 2018 GPS season level on six competition points following a dramatic penultimate round of schoolboy rugby last weekend. Joeys scored a try in the 78th minute to upset title favourites Scots, while Kings were beaten by Newington 42-32. All three sides can claim the outright or joint premiership this season, depending on tomorrow’s results. Joeys will win the GPS premiership if they beat Riverview tomorrow. They’ll share the title with the winner of the Kings v Scots clash, unless that match ends in a draw. In that case, Joeys would claim the outright premiership. If Joeys lose to Riverview, the winner of Kings and Scots will claim the outright premiership. Joeys travel to play Riverview, while Kings host Scots at Parramatta. In the rounds other match, Newington plays Shore.
