Scots and Kings remain the teams to beat in 2017 after both sides extended their unbeaten starts to the season with impressive wins in round two.

Scots scored 11 tries in a 71-20 victory over Riverview with wingers Tom Yasmin and Max Robson combining for seven five pointers.

Kings outlasted Joeys in a tight tussle, with winger Ben Stewart scoring the match winning try midway through the second half after several lead changes in the opening 60 minutes.

CAS Round 3

Knox and Waverley extended their unbeaten starts to the season with important wins in round three and sit level on top of the CAS ladder with two rounds remaining.

In a thrilling contest at Hornsby, Waverley No.8 Liam Cornish crashed over and scored the match winning try in the 75th minute, after the Barker forwards looked to have sealed victory with a try just minutes earlier. Waverley flyhalf Ben Donaldson converted the try from next to the posts to seal the 15-14 win.

Knox continued their good form, scoring eight tries in an impressive 50 point victory over St Aloysius, while Trinity overcame a five point half time deficit to claim a 31-10 victory over Cranbook.

If Knox can beat Barker next week, they’ll likely set up a final round showdown against Waverley to decide the 2017 premiership.
