NSW Schools: GPS Round 2 & CAS Round 3 Wrap Up

Photo: Waverley Sport GPS Round 2 Scots and Kings remain the teams to beat in 2017 after both sides extended their unbeaten starts to the season with impressive wins in round two. Scots scored 11 tries in a 71-20 victory over Riverview with wingers Tom Yasmin and Max Robson combining for seven five pointers. Kings outlasted Joeys in a tight tussle, with winger Ben Stewart scoring the match winning try midway through the second half after several lead changes in the opening 60 minutes. At Northbridge, Newington claimed their first win of the season beating Shore 51-28. A hat trick to winger Simi Afeaki and a double to prop Angus Bell proved the difference in the 23 point win.
