NSW Country Eagles unveil new jerseys
The NSW Country Eagles have unveiled two new look jerseys ahead of the 2015 National Rugby Championship season.
The main strip features the traditional Country Gold, with an Eagle across the front of the jersey filled with indigenous art. A unique NSW Country Eagle logo has also been for the first time.
“The indigenous community have a very proud history in rugby, particularly in NSW Country, so we thought it was appropriate to recognise that contribution through this year’s jersey,” Eagles CEO James Grant told Rugby News.
After a number of jersey clashes in last year’s inaugural season, each side has an alternative jersey in 2015, with the Eagles choosing a similar design on a black backdrop.
The Eagles was designed by Taleena Simon and 2015 Australian Schoolboy Cody Walker.
