NSW Country Eagles name semi final team to play Melbourne

NSW Country Eagles coach Darren Coleman has named a near full strength side for this weekend's NRC semi final against Melbourne in Newcastle. Wallabies prop Tom Robertson and squad member Tolu Latu return to the Eagles starting XV and will pack down alongside captain Paddy Ryan in the front row. Rohan O'Regan and Tim Buchanan have been named in the second row, with Sam Figg, Rowan Perry and Sam Ward also set to start. Waratahs lock Ned Hanigan has been ruled out through injury. In the backs, inform halfback Jake Gordon will direct play alongside Andrew Deegan with Waratahs fullback Andrew Kellaway retaining the number 15 jersey. NSW Country beat Melbourne 32-30 when the two sides met in Tamworth back in three and both sides will be looking to secure a spot in their first NRC grand final. The Eagles lost a semi final to Brisbane City in 2014, while Melbourne lost in the opening week of the playoffs in 2014 and 2015. NSW Country Eagles team to play Melbourne Rising Paddy Ryan,
