NRC: Kevin Locke set to miss 2016 National Rugby Championship

Former New Zealand rugby league international Kevin Locke will not play in the 2016 National Rugby Championship for the Western Sydney Rams after failing to recover from a shoulder injury. The Rams announced the marquee signing last month, however it is understood Locke has returned to New Zealand. The 27-year old played a handful of lower grade Shute Shield games for Southern Districts towards the end of the season but was hindered by a shoulder injury. The Rams will release their full playing squad across several days this week ahead of their opening match against the Sydney Rays at North Sydney Oval on Sunday 28th August.
