Ken Catchpole Medal: Past Winners 1981-2017

The Ken Catchpole Medal has been awarded to the Shute Shield’s most valuable player each year since 1981.

Ahead of the 2018 awards ceremony in Sydney this evening, we thought we’d take a look back at the past winners.

Former Wallaby and Eastwood forward Scott Fava is the only player to win the award three times, having done so in 2002, 2003 and 2004.
