Australian Schools 2018 program details confirmed

Australian Schools President Br. Bob Wallace has officially appointed Churchie coach Andrew Moloney as new Australian Schoolboys coach ahead of the 2o18 season. Former coach Pat Langtry stood down at the end of the side's 2017 campaign, but is expected to stay involved in the program. Moloney worked as Langtry's assistant for several years, while Southern Districts lower grade coach Jay Tregonning has also joined the coaching staff alongside Kings' coach James Hilgendorf. Australia will play matches against New Zealand and Tonga in Brisbane in September and October before embarking on a five week tour of the Scotland and Ireland in November/December. Newington coach Brad Gill has been appointed Australian Schools Barbarians coach with Kings' coach David Idstein appointed assistant.
