Australian Barbarians team named for trial against Brumbies

Australian Barbarians coach Michael Magriplis has named a strong side filled with club rugby and NRC players to face the Brumbies in a pre-season trial in Canberra on Saturday. Northern Suburbs captain and 2016 Ken Catchpole medal winner Will Miller has been named at flanker, alongside Parramatta forwards Tyrone Viiga and David Lolohea. In the backs, Southern Districts rake Dewet Roos will start at No.9 with former Reds back and 2015 NRC leading try scorer Junior Laloifi named at fullback. The two sides meet at Viking Park in Canberra at 7:30pm on Saturday night.
