Millions of reasons to be positive about NSW Rugby

The NSW Positive Rugby Foundation has passed a major milestone as it gets behind grass roots rugby in the premier state. In only its second year of operation, the NSW Positive Rugby Foundation has passed the $1 million mark on its way to raising just over $1.2m to invest in grassroots rugby. With a focus on improving the health and wellbeing of rugby communities, the Foundation invests in six key causes; schools and juniors, country rugby, elite youth development, Western Sydney, Indigenous Rugby and the women’s game. Major outcomes of early investment include the appointment of two staff as Primary and Secondary Schools Relationship Managers and the delivery of the ‘Get Talkin’ Tour’ – a mental health awareness program run in conjunction with the youth mental health organisation batyr.  Through practical and interactive sessions that are attended by NSW Waratahs players, the ‘Get Talkin’ Tour’ provides much needed support to rugby communities in drought a
