For both the Magpies and the Bulldogs, a loss will put any hopes of finals footy to bed. It’s been a tough month for Souths, who followed an upset win over Jeeps at Yoku Road with back-to-back losses against Easts and Bond respectively. But after a bye, Jake Strachan and his side and ready to go in what he described as “a knockout game.” The playmaker is confident that his side can claim vital competition points against an equally as desperate Bulldogs outfit, should they stick to what they know. “It definitely is a knockout game.
