After claiming a breakthrough premiership in front of a packed house at North Sydney Oval in 2016, Northern Suburbs continued their winning ways into the 2017 season and after a mid season form slump, found themselves back on the main stage on the final Saturday of the season. While the Shoreman couldn't repeat the heroics of a year earlier in the decider against Warringah, Norths didn't lose any admirers in 2017, with a number of players picking up professional contracts on the back of two strong seasons.
