NSW Country Eagles recall stars for final round clash against Rams

NSW Country Eagles coach Darren Coleman has recalled a number of his stars for this weekend’s final round clash against the Western Sydney Rams at Concord Oval. Waratahs fullback Andrew Kellaway returns from injury and will play his first match since aggravating an ankle injury back in round two, while star scrumhalf Jake Gordon and winger Alex Newsome have both been named in the starting side after being rested last week. Up front, Sam Ward has been named at No.8 while Australian U20s forward Ryan McCauley has retained his spot in the second row. Warringah hooker Luke Holmes and Randwick centre Kuki Ma’afu have been added to the bench. The Eagles lost their first match of the season last weekend to Queensland Country and will be looking to bounce back against the Rams before they host a home semi final in the opening week of the playoffs. They will secure the minor premiership if they win this week. NSW Country Eagles team to play Western Sydney Rams Paddy Ryan, Folau Faing
