Pocock and Beale re-commit to Australian rugby
The Wallabies have received a major boost ahead of the Rugby World Cup, with David Pocock and Kurtley Beale both signing contract extensions with the Australian Rugby Union and their Super Rugby Clubs.
Pocock will play with the Brumbies until at least the end of next season, while Beale has extended his time with the Waratahs, signing a further two-year deal.
The pair toured the UK together ten years ago as part of the 2005 Australian schoolboys side and will depart tomorrow for the US, en route to the Rugby World Cup.
“I am very passionate about the Wallabies jersey and representing this country,” 27-year-old Pocock said.
“We are also very fortunate to be able to do what we do, and have the honour of representing so many along the way.
