Shute Shield Round Two: Team News
Following some surprising round one results, a number of coaches have made changes to their starting sides ahead of round two.
Several Waratahs also return to their club during this weekend’s bye.

Hunter v Randwick
Hunter will look to start their season with two wins at home when they face Randwick on Good Friday afternoon. Bubba Coleman has made just one change, with Andrew Tuala returning from the Waratahs to start at prop.
For the Galloping Greens, Will Harrison makes his long awaited return from injury and will start at fullback with Ben Dowling also returning from the Waratahs.
In the forwards, James French will start at prop and Ben Houston returns at No.8 after a stint in rugby league. Mitch Watts shifts from No.8 to No.6 to make room for Houston.

Warringah v Sydney Uni
Warringah lock Hugh Margin will miss his side’s Good Friday night clash against Sydney Uni and will be replaced by Sam Thomson who is back on the Northern Beaches after a season in Japan.
For Sydney Uni, Darcy Breen has been named to start at prop, Zac Von Appen will start at lock during the Waratahs bye week and Papilion Sevele will play No.8.

Eastwood v Manly
Eastwood welcome back centre Harry Wilson, who starred for NSW A earlier this year against the Brumby Runners and seems due for a big season. Willie Leoso will start at prop and Chris Bell at flyhalf after both men played from the bench in last week’s tight loss to Easts.
For Manly, Hunter Ward returns fresh off making his Super Rugby debut, with Justin Mataele shifting from No.6 to lock to make room. Zac Barnabus starts at No.7 while former Northland winger Whiria Meltzer is also set to make his Shute Shield debut.
Eastwood (1-15)

Eastern Suburbs coach Simon Kneebone has name one change to the side that beat Eastwood after the full-time siren last week, with Max Patterson to start at fullback.
West Harbour, also coming off a win, will be without talented winger Senijiale Dawai, with Callum Sirker to start in his place.

Northern Suburbs v Southern Districts
Both Norths and Souths started their seasons with wins in round one. Norths have made two changes to the team that towelled up Sydney Uni, with Hamish Sinclair starting at lock and James Margan replacing Sam Kitchen at hooker.
Souths have lost Junior Wallaby George Gibson for Saturday’s clash at North Sydney Oval but have named form Exeter Chiefs backrower Archie Hosking in his place at No.7.
Northern Suburbs (1-15)

Western Sydney v Gordon
Both Sailosi Tagicakibau and Billy Melrose have made numerous changes as their sides look for their first wins of the season.
For the Two Blues, Wiseguy Faiane and Otumaka Mausia have swapped at flyhalf and fullback while former Fijian rugby league international Siti Moceidreke. Faiva Faiva is still 50/50 for Saturday’s match with Kepu Lokotui named to replace him if the winger can’t prove his fitness.
At Gordon, Will Bremner and John Akauola will start at hooker and lock respectively. Ola Tauelangi moves to No.6 while Tom Horan will start at No.7.
In the backs, Kainoa Gudgeon has been shifted from the wing to outside centre, with Brandon Quinn named to start on the wing.
