Shute Shield: 2017 Top Point Scorers & Try Scorers

Heading into this weekend’s midseason Shute Shield bye, we thought we’d take a look at the top point and try scorers from the opening 11 rounds.

While Manly lead the competition comfortably, flyhalf Tayler Adams from 10th placed West Harbour has troubled the score attendant most this year, with 151 points so far this season at an average of over 13 points per match.

Similarly, winger Paula Balekana from 9th placed Gordon leads the try scorers list with 15 tries including three hat tricks already this year. While backs dominate both lists, Souths forwards Brandon Paenga-Amosa and Jamason Faanana-Shultz and Norths prop Ezra Luxton all make the cut with 6 tries each.
