2019 Shute Shield Season Preview: Randwick

After winning just six games and finishing ninth in 2018, there’s been plenty of change at Randwick over summer. Former colts coach Hadley Jackson and a host of new faces have joined the Galloping Greens top squad, as they look to return to the finals and forget last year’s disappointing finish.  Overview with Hadley Jackson:  “It’s been a long summer for the club and with a lot of new players and some new coaches on board, we’ve had April 6 penciled in for a while now so it’s exciting that it’s almost here,” Hadley said.  “Having coached colts at the club, I’ve got a close relationship with a lot of the players from first grade, down to third grade colts. I think knowing the players individually, knowing their families and knowing what gets the best out of them is a huge advantage for me.  “Each club is very different and I’m not sure what Sydney Uni did last year, but they obviously had a lot of success with a fairly young team.
